New Monolog album on Ad Noiseam + other news

Berlin-based noise-wrangler Monolog, aka. Mads Lindgren, is indeed a busy man. The biggest story in the Monolog universe right now is clearly his album-release this month on one of our favorite labels, Ad Noiseam, who just two weeks ago shipped a full length Monolog release titled 2 Dots Left which features 13 stabs of Lindgrens signature sound-turturing audio mayhem nuggets. Pick it up here or read more in this label news bit, in which there is also honorable mention of Lindgrens collaborations with fellow Uhrlaut-roster colleague Tone – who made a note of that here.

Lindgren and Tone have another track out together; namely Recognize His Face that has been released on the Maschinenfest 2013 Compilation following Monologs performance there earlier in October this year. The double album, out on CD, can be obtained here

On the side Lindgren has also been roaming around in the studio to churn out some tracks as part of the Diasiva project. Diasiva is the collective efforts of Lindgren and Simon Hayes (aka. Swarm Intelligence), a duo dedicated to the combination of obscene, high-octane sound and ten-tonne sub frequencies. One of their tracks recently made it onto the Iugeri Sonus III compilation from UK-based Acre Recordings and can be picked up at a pay-what-you-want price here. Lastly, we want to point your attention to this short video titled Glitch Robot Experiments by Vimeo user ice@cream and Simon Simon, in which they use the Ecule Drift track from our Monolog LP release Aerodymanic to produce a very convincing experimental flick. Nice one!
