The Urlyd DJ-team is a flexible musical ensemble that specializes in weaving a perfect musical soundscape for any relevant context – ranging from artist tour support, audiovisual collaborations, club appearances, stand alone promotional gigs and other similar contexts. Selecting from a vast record collection that stretches back more than 15 years, label co-founder Christian Villum plays a laid-back eclectic electronica mixture that draws upon a wide range of subgenres including dub, jazz, clicks’n’cuts, detroit electronic funk, crusty break beats and glitchy soundscapes – flavoured of course with Urlyd pre-releases and upcoming talent, and on many occasions crisp slices of old school hiphop beats.
When in clubbing context this style takes a harder approach relying on the ever present Chicago Jaktrack sound and minimalism in general – as well as the legendary electronic heritage left us all by the Detroit underground pioneers.

When dj’ing, the Norwegian born yngveSin is known to incorporate a broad range of musical genres in his sets, depending on the context – mastering both casual listening purposes and more clubbier settings. Having a profound love for many different musical styles that include most kinds of electronica, hiphop, drum’n’bass, trip hop – and many other kinds, yngveSin makes an effort of creating a unpredictable multifaceted experience for his listeners, when juggling genres into a harmonious yet highly varied entity of complementing beats, sounds and emotions.
