Con Ink Moniker

Geometric simplicity transfered to electronic music without compromise and aimed at a listening and mesmerized dancefloor. Within the simplicity lies complex and syncopated IDM rhythm patterns with modulated and oddly composed tonal landscapes and bits of melody.

Con Ink Moniker is Thomas Ahlmark and Kristoffer Jørgensen who also, alongside this musical venture, constitute Vektormusik (signed to Danish label Rump Recordings). Con Ink Moniker contrasts sharply Vektormusik’s twisted acoustic electronica-kraut by focusing solely on synthetic sounds and a much simpler and more beat-oriented expression – drawing upon influences such as Gescom and Autechre.

When performing live Con Ink Moniker is backed by VJ Øbro who adds his digital video improvisations to the audiovisual mix.
